The Edgartown affordable housing committee said they were pleased with the amendments that Katama Meadows, a subdivision proposal off Meeting House Way, was putting forth after the committee and select board called for more units for middle-income earners. 

The developers behind the controversial housing project in Edgartown are planning to withdraw their application and propose more units targeted at Islanders in the “missing middle” income bracket.

The Edgartown planning board this week declined to weigh in on Katama Meadow’s plan to withdraw its application from the Martha’s Vineyard Commission.
