Mikado is set to open in Oak Bluffs on April 1; Red Cat Kitchen to move into former Oyster Bar 02557.

Xi Yu, proprietor of Mikado Asian Bistro in Vineyard Haven, aired plans for a new restaurant location in Oak Bluffs at the former location of The Cardboard Box.

Mikado Asian Bistro will begin hosting a jazz lounge on Saturdays, beginning March 24, from 7 to 8:30 p.m.

Mikado Asian Bistro is a family affair, with several generations bringing their specialties to the menu. Old friends from China are also part of the mix.
