The story of Reverend Denniston and his family is currently on display at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum in an exhibit called Finding Our Way Home: The Denniston Family and 11 Masonic Avenue. 

Five years after the start of the Covid pandemic Dan Waters is presenting a photographic time capsule of the year at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum.

Though the idea seems far-fetched now, Martha's Vineyard was a part of New York for about 30 years in the 1600s.

2024

Linsey Lee’s career spans 35 years as the oral historian at the Martha’s Vineyard Museum. Last week, Ms. Lee told her own story, interviewed on stage by her longtime friend and NPR correspondent Mara Liasson.

The Ceremony of Remembrance service takes place Saturday, Sept. 14 at 1 p.m. at the Edgartown Lighthouse.

A new exhibit at the museum includes art by Donald Widdiss, his mother Gladys, and his sons Heath and Jason. Donald and Jason are both wampum artists, whereas Gladys and Heath’s medium is clay.
