Martha’s Vineyard Magazine is seeking an Associate Editor to play a crucial role on the award-winning magazine team that covers Martha’s Vineyard, Massachusetts. The Associate Editor will be involved in the editorial process, reviewing and editing stories, ensuring that the material is clear, accurate, and ready for publication in the magazine, which publishes seven times a year, including two Home and Garden issues.

The Associate Editor will also play a key role assisting in additional magazine department publications, including the Island Guide, a glossy tourist guidebook printed once a year, and Island Weddings, a glossy magazine devoted to the Vineyard wedding industry that is published twice per year. Responsibilities will include: copy editing, writing, pitching, social media, and updating content online.
