Felix Neck offers summer camps for children 4 to 13 on its 350-acre wildlife sanctuary, with programs that encourage kids to actively investigate and observe their surroundings, make their own discoveries, appreciate nature and have fun. The camps incorporate outdoor games, activities, hikes, stories and crafts.

If you would like a brochure mailed to you, call 508-627-4850 or e-mail felixneck@massaudubon.org — or you can download it from the Web site massaudubon.org. Registrations are taken on a first come, first serve basis.

Too old for camp but still want to be involved? Then check out Felix Neck’s leader-in-training (LIT) program for young adults, ages 14 to 18. LITs assist counselors in planning and teaching lessons. This is an opportunity for young adults to develop leadership skills, foster personal growth, and develop an environmental ethic to carry throughout their lives. LITs participate for week-long sessions, and can do multiple weeks throughout the summer. For details, call 508-627-4850.
