The Adult and Community Education Program (ACE MV), which offers classes on a wide range of subjects from taxes to nautical knots, has a new catalogue of 50 courses for the spring session, which begins at the Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School March 9 and runs until April 16. Classes meet on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m. There will also be single-event seminars.

The program has proved to be very popular this winter, and the faculty is highly skilled. Several instructors are experienced teachers and professors. The curriculum offers something for everyone, whether you’re looking for fitness, practical skills, challenging discussion or ways to survive the economy.

The catalogue of courses is available at all Island schools and libraries courtesy of a grant from the Permanent Endowment Fund. Courses, registration forms, gift certificates and other information are also available online at acemv.org. Registration in person will be held at the high school lobby from 5 to 7 p.m. on Tuesday and Wednesday March 3 and March 4. You may also register on the first night of classes for an added fee of $5. Courses have limited class sizes. For information, e-mail Lynn Ditchfield at lynn@acemv.org or leave a voice mail message at 508-693-1033 extension 240.
