Noted Harvard Law professor Alan M. Dershowitz will discuss the Obama administration’s relationship with Israel in a talk titled Obama and Israel: Friends Or Foes? at the Chilmark Public Library on Thursday, August 6 at 5 p.m. Free copies of his latest book The Case For Moral Clarity: Israel, Hamas and Gaza, donated by Mr. Dershowitz, will be given to the first 100 people in attendance.

Mr. Dershowitz, a Chilmark summer resident, is one of the best-known criminal lawyers in the world and a fierce defender of individual rights. He is the Felix Frankfurter Professor of Law at Harvard Law School.

Mr. Dershowitz is the author of 21 works of fiction and nonfiction, including six bestsellers. While he is known for defending clients such as Anatoly Sharansky, Claus von Bülow, O.J. Simpson, Michael Milken and Mike Tyson, he continues to represent numerous indigent defendants and takes half of his cases pro bono.
