The Tisbury School has announced its awards for the 2008-2009 school year.

The Jeffrey T. Goodale Memorial Award was given to Evan Kristal, grade five; the Dorothy Larkosh Roberts Award to Aaron Teves, grade six; the Rose Anthony Award for Achievement in Literary Arts to Barra Peak, grade seven.

In the eighth grade, the Kerry Alley Humanitarian Award was given to Kaitlyn Bruni; the Eugene W. Baer Creative Arts Award to Cassandra Mello; the James Norton Technology Award to Dana Jacobs; the Maurice Bresnahan School Service Award to Carl Gosselin; the Fred Glodis Science Award to Fionnuala Howell; and the Principal Award to Margaret Riseborough.
