Felix Neck Photo Event

The superlative talents of Island photographers will be captured beneath the soft light of the winter solstice when Felix Neck Sanctuary celebrates Vineyard wildlife photographers with a free exhibition on Sunday, Dec. 20. Beginning with a sunset solstice walk led by naturalist and Gazette outdoors columnist Suzan Bellincampi at 3:30 p.m., the celebration continues indoors at 5 p.m., with an exhibit showcasing photographs testifying to the primacy of the natural world, taken around the globe by Island shutterbugs. After introductions by Mark Alan Lovewell, the photographers will speak about their work and answer questions from the assembled. The event is free, all are welcome, and refreshments will be served.
