Limerick Challenge
The Vineyard has a colorful history
Full of comedy, tragedy and mystery
Good fodder for poems
So get out of your homes
And head to the library in West Tisbury.
The first annual Vineyard Limerick Challenge will be held Sunday, March 14 at 3 p.m. at the West Tisbury library. The challenge: compose a limerick related to Martha’s Vineyard. Entries will be judged by other library patrons.
The afternoon will also feature green (in the traditional sense) refreshments, and live Irish music by Gregg Harcourt and Mary Wolverton.
For details on the event or for more inspiration, visit westtisburylibrary.org, call 508-693-3366 or stop by the library in person to pick up your entry form.
