Trunk Show at Granary

This Memorial Day weekend, the Granary Gallery on Old County Road in West Tisbury opens its doors for the season with a trunk show, featuring table linens, totes, scarves and other textile products from artist and painter Carol Maguire. A featured artist at the gallery for more than four years, Ms. Maguire’s work is inspired by objects and patterns encountered during extensive travels to India, Peru, Romania, Guatemala and Honduras, places where she has shared her artistic skills and techniques with local populations. The weekend show starts Saturday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and with a painting demo at 2. The weekend continues 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, and 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday.
