Native Plant Talk

On Wednesday, August 11, at 7:30 p.m. the director of the Mt. Cuba Center, Rick Lewandowski, delivers the annual David H. Smith Memorial lecture at the Polly Hill Arboretum’s far barn , focussing on preserving native plants.

Mt. Cuba, formerly the estate of Mr. and Mrs. Lammot du Pont Copeland, continues the tradition of its founders — celebrating native plants through gardening and conservation. The beautiful woodland gardens inspire those seeking to learn more about gardening informed by naturalprocesses. Mt. Cuba Center’s gardens also serve as a means of sharing a commitment to responsible gardening and support for conservation.

The cost is $10, or $5 for arboretum members.
