Painter Mark Bullen is offering a three-day intensive master class in portrait painting at Featherstone Center for the Arts, Oct. 1 to 3.

Through daily demonstrations from the live model, Mr. Bullen will show you how to achieve drawing, form and color in your own work. There will be an emphasis on mixing flesh tints, drawing with a brush and understanding light and shade. The class is designed for both beginning and advanced painters’ benefit. The class runs Friday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuition is $375.

Mr. Bullen is graduate of the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts whose paintings have been exhibited in Philadelphia, New York and San Francisco.
