Winter Farmers’ Market
Noses, for the moment, may be safe from Jack Frost, but still the air is getting chilly. So what’s a farmers’ market to do to keep the veggies safe. Head indoors.
This week the West Tisbury Farmers’ Market begins its run at the Agricultural Hall in West Tisbury. Enjoy the same great local produce the market has offered all summer long.
The market is open from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Market dates are Oct. 23, Nov. 6 and 20 and Dec. 4 and 18.
There will also be special events throughout the season including a pig roast, a chef demonstration using local bay scallops, and in December holiday shopping. Kevin Keady and friends will continue to supply the music.
