Good in an Emergency?

Vineyard ambulance services are making an appeal to Island residents to become a volunteer EMT. Classes begin in January and go through April. You can be an Island EMT by June.

There will be an open house on Saturday, Dec. 4, from 9 a.m. to noon at the West Tisbury Firehouse on State Road in West Tisbury to provide information on becoming an EMT, applying for town sponsorship and the kind of commitment it takes.
