No More Bullies

The YMCA of Martha’s Vineyard will host an antibullying workshop on Monday, March 14 and Tuesday, March 15 from 6:45 to 8:30 p.m. The workshop is open to all families and individuals and will cover environmental bullying and cyber/techno bullying. Participants will engage in a dinner theatre experience while viewing various informational videos, as well as a performance by the teen after-school program staff depicting bullying through the eye of teens in their environment and what they witness through the interactions of after-school participants ages five to 14.

After dinner, Connect to End Violence, a program of Martha’s Vineyard Community Services, will provide a presentation on bullying and the anti-bullying legislation. A panel of anti-bullying professionals from the community will be on hand to answer your questions and try to help our Island community cope with the effects of bullying and understand preventative measures.

The cost of the workshop is $25 for individuals and $45 for a family; the price includes dinner both nights.
