Improv by Kids for Kids
Tired of having your kids entertained by adults trying to act like kids — animated movies, anyone? There is another way.
By kids, for kids is the IMP way. IMP is the longstanding Island improv troupe that has been entertaining children, not to mention adults, for years now. Each summer IMP holds theatre and improv classes and the result of this creative approach to summer camp is put on stage for everyone to enjoy.
This year’s show is entitled From Shakespeare and Suess! and takes place Friday, July 15 at the Edgartown School.
Showtimes are a creative force of their own designed to fit any child’s attention span. Act one is performed at 11 a.m., act two at 2 p.m. and for those able to go the distance, both acts are performed at 7 p.m.
The daytime shows are free. Tickets for the evening show are $8 for adults or $6 for kids. For more details, call 508-939-9368 or visit imp4kids.com.
