For Fairies and Trolls

This holiday season it’s time to think about the fairies. After all, come the cold winter months they certainly need homes, not to mention another warm log on the fire. Think how long you’d survive in a skimpy tutu and wings.

Don’t forget the trolls, either. They may be ugly but they’re not all bad. Especially the little ones.

For those feeling warm-hearted to the wee wonders of the netherworld, you’re in luck. The West Tisbury library is hosting a fairy and troll housecrafts time this Saturday, Nov. 26 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Refreshments and materials are provided, but feel free to gather building materials beforehand and bring them along. Use anything found in nature: sticks, stones, shells, moss, bark, twigs, leaves. Fairies don’t like man-made substances. They were hip to asbestos and lead paint long before our puny human instincts got wise to the issue.
