The Pit Stop refuses to go gently into that good night. This Sunday, Jan. 27, at 7 p.m. the place will be rocking, thanks to three-time All-Ireland fiddle champion, Dylan Foley.

Mr. Foley was a student of the great Rose Flanagan. You remember her, of course — the original fiddler in Cherish the Ladies. Mr. Foley will be accompanied on stage by acoustic guitarist and bouzouki player Sean Earnest. He was born in Pennsylvania but his bouziki sends the blood straight to Greece. Also performing is Dan Gurney who first picked up an accordion by chance in a toy store. He learned Irish music from Galway-born concertina player Father Charlie Coen. After graduating from Harvard in 2009, he lived in Galway for a year playing with the masters. His debut album Traditional Irish Music on the Button Accordion was named to the top 10 albums list of 2011 by the Irish Echo.

Tickets for the show are $10. Contact thepitstopworkshop@gmail.org or 508-693-4219.
