The Vineyard Haven Library is holding two events that focus on Lyme disease.

On Tuesday, Feb. 12, at 7 p.m. the library will screen the documentary Under Our Skin. This movie follows the journey of several patients and their difficulties with both the disease and the health care industry. For more information, visit underourskin.com.

On Tuesday, Feb. 19, at 7 p.m. Dr. Lena Prisco, director of the Martha’s Vineyard Hospital laboratory, will talk about how to understand Lyme disease lab reports and how to discuss these findings with a doctor. Doctor Prisco earned a PhD in pharmacology from the University of Conn. and arrived on the Island five years ago after spending over 25 years in the healthcare industry.
