This Wednesday, Feb. 12, at 6 p.m. the Harbor View Hotel hosts Romancing the Oyster, a fundraising event to benefit the Martha’s Vineyard Shellfish Group and the Edgartown Shellfish Growers Association.
Katama oyster growers donated over 2,000 cultured Katama oysters for the evening, and almost every Island oyster grower will be represented. Nathan Gould, executive chef of the Harbor View Hotel, will be creating some signature oyster dishes for the occasion, which will be buffet style, with a hot station, passed hors d’oeuvres and over five raw bars.
Tickets are $45 per person, $80 per couple, and available online here.
