It’s a seed summit and you are invited. From April 27 to 30, Island Grown Schools is hosting a workshop with a variety of leaders in the sustainable farming field to help plan for the future. The event begins with a community potluck dinner on April 27 at the West Tisbury library from 4:30 to 8 p.m. The next three days will include a variety of workshops on topics such as seed breeding, seed saving and seed cooperatives, to name a few. Registration is required for the workshop and space is limited.
Island Grown Schools is also hosting a benefit dinner on May 3 at the Sweet Life Cafe, with seatings at 5:45 and 8:15 p.m.
