Tickets have gone on sale for a July concert featuring Rosanne Cash that will benefit the Gay Head Light relocation.

Ms. Cash, a Grammy award winning artist and the daughter of musician Johnny Cash, will appear in a July 1 concert at Flatbread Company, which donated the venue for the event, according to a press release sent this week. Actor and Vineyard resident Tony Shalhoub will auction off items throughout the evening.

Doors will open at 8 p.m. Tickets are $200 in advance and are available at ticketsMV.com. Starting May 15, tickets will also be available at Alley’s General Store, the Aquinnah town hall and Midnight Farm. Tickets will be $250 at the door.

The benefit concert is one of many fundraising efforts for the relocation and restoration of the 1856 brick lighthouse, which sits 46 feet away from eroding cliffs. In 2013, it was named one of the country’s 11 most endangered historic places.

Between public and private support, $1.1 million has been raised for the $3 million project. The relocation of the lighthouse is slated for next spring.
