The Martha’s Vineyard Sound Festival is coming. Are you ready?

On Saturday, July 12, from 3 to 9 p.m., Waban Park in Oak Bluffs will be turned into a nonstop concert venue. With the ocean as a backdrop, it won’t just be the jetties of Inkwell Beach rocking.

Ben Taylor is playing. So is Willy Mason, John Cruz, Lexie & Arlen Roth and Johnny Hoy & the Bluefish. DCLA? Check. Good Night Louise, Dwight & Nicole, Alex Karalekas and Will Evans, too.

After the show at Waban the music will continue at satellite venues in Oak Bluffs and Edgartown, also known as bars.

Tickets are $30 for general admission and $100 for all access passes and are available at TicketsMV.com/sound. Children under 12 are free.

The event is family friendly, and will include a kids’ area and a variety of food and beverage vendors.

Proceeds from the festival will go toward launching Our Island Collaborative, a non-profit dedicated to enhancing the social, economic, and environmental sustainability of Martha’s Vineyard.

Volunteers are needed for the day of the festival. Anyone interested should email volunteer@MarthasVineyardSound.com.
