It’s about the farm — the land, the sea and the table. It’s about eating local — shellfish, vegetables, cheese, wine, beer — all of it. And it’s about to happen.

The annual Island culinary adventure, Farm. Field. Sea., takes place on Oct. 25 and 26. Events will be held at North Tabor and Grey Barn Farms. There will be an opportunity to cook alongside chef and farmer Chris Fischer, plus a shellfish tutorial by the MV Shellfish Group and Honeysuckle Oyster Farm. There will also be cheese making with Jacqueline Foster, fish sustainability discussions at the Menemsha Fish House, wine tasting with Thirst Wine Merchants, beer pairing with Offshore Ale and a few Island stories by Buddy Vanderhoop.
