Beach season is still a bit in the future, but bellies are going bare this weekend at the Vineyard Belly Dance Revue held at the Katharine Cornell Theatre in Vineyard Haven.

The six-member troupe will showcase various types of belly dances — from American Tribal to Persian Gulf Folk — and include whirling dancers, exotic music and costumes. The performances are family friendly, and dancers include Amy Kurth, Pat Szucs, Sheila Rayyan, Jamie O’Gorman, Betsy Smith and Rhonda Backus.

Showtimes are Saturday, May 9, at 7 p.m. and Sunday, May 10, at 2 p.m. Tickets are $10, available at the door.
