Well once again I am sitting here and there is a threat of badly needed rain. I looked at the radar today and there was showers going to the north of us and the south. It was like it parted ways to go around us. So I am hoping that some of the rain they are threatening us with will hit us.

Last week, after I sent my article, I was so mad at myself for not mentioning the young lady Annabelle Brothers, who sang the fight song at the Relay for Life. When they announced her name I thought, isn’t she a cute girl, and then this voice came out of her and we were all floored. She had us in tears and then clapping. What an amazing voice and I hope we see her again soon.

June 14 is Flag Day, a day that is getting further back in our history. Wouldn’t it be nice if we could all show our support for our veterans and our service men and women who are fighting for our country and are proud of our United State of America and its symbol.
Have a great week and keep the home candles burning.
