Get a treat and help families in need. The Vineyard Committee on Hunger will hold its 38th annual bread sale this Saturday in front of the Bunch of Grapes Bookstore.

Stop by Saturday between 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to purchase pastries, cookies, breads, and muffins —including gluten-free options— with all the proceeds going to Island families in need. Money raised goes to organizations including the Island Food Pantry, Serving Hands Food Distribution, Family-to-Family Holiday Meals, and Meals on Wheels.

The Vineyard Committee on Hunger was founded in the 1970s to raise community awareness about hunger on the Island and around the world.

On Saturday, the committee will accept donations of baked goods from 9 a.m. on, and monetary donations from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
