I am writing today because I got not one, but two scam calls regarding the IRS being after me. As I hung up too quickly, apparently, after the first, when I came in from a walk later there was a message, “The IRS is filing suit against you,” and a number to call. They worried that I’d not know where to call. Both times I notified Tisbury police (non-emergency number) and they appreciated knowing. Remember, the IRS does NOT call you, they may write you if need be.
