Thursday, March 31 was the annual selectmen’s day at the Up-Island Council on Aging, to join their constituents for lunch. Once again, we were joined by West Tisbury selectman Jeffrey (Skipper) Manter as well as by Chilmark selectman Bill Rossi. It was Bill’s turn this year as Warren Doty and Jonathan Mayhew had attended in 2015. Following lunch we all enjoyed learning of Harriet Poole Otteson’s trip to Cuba. Harriet shared photographs, anecdotes, and souvenirs with those in attendance. Thank you Harriet and thank to our honorable selectmen.
