Holly Bellebuono’s book Women Healers of the World: The Traditions, History & Geography of Herbal Medicine (SkyHorse Publishers) has been awarded the national Nautilus Book Award. The book earned the top gold award in women’s books. This is the book’s second award; it was named book of the year by The International Herb Association.

Women Healers features 31 women from 20 countries and 16 healing traditions, most based on personal interviews. The author collaborated with Vineyard artist Tracy Thorpe and photographer Harry Beach. Ms. Bellebuono directs the Bellebuono School of Herbal Medicine and Vineyard Herbs Teas & Apothecary.
