Martha’s Vineyard Regional High School Baseball players Sam Bresnick, Mitchell Chaves, Elias Fhagen-Smith,a and Curtis Fournier were named to summer baseball league all-star teams.

Fhagen-Smith, an upcoming senior playing for Orleans Post 308 in District 10 Legion, was named to the District 10 East All-Star team, which took place Saturday, June 9 at Rockland Veterans Memorial Stadium. Fhagen-Smith is batting .333 with three doubles and 10 RBI through 16 games, and has also pitched 14 innings.

Chaves, also an upcoming senior, and upcoming juniors Bresnick and Fournier, are playing for the Martha’s Vineyard Senior Babe Ruth team. They competed in the Senior Babe Ruth State Tournament. The first game of the single elimination tournament was on Friday, July 8.
