On Saturday, Nov. 5, the Speakeasy Series presents an evening with Peter D. Kramer to benefit the West Tisbury Library Foundation.

Dr. Kramer is the author of seven books, including Against Depression, Should You Leave?, Listening to Prozac, and the novel Spectacular Happiness. He lives and practices psychiatry in Providence, R.I., where he is a professor at Brown University.

The event will be held at the home of Sherman and Susan Goldstein in West Tisbury, and begins at 5:30 p.m. Hors d’oeuvres and light refreshments will be provided. The price per ticket is $30. Reservations are required.
