The Martha’s Vineyard Public Charter School is throwing its second annual spring fling party on Saturday, March 18, beginning at 6 p.m. at the P.A. Club in Oak Bluffs. There will be live and silent auctions, music by The Dock Street Band, appetizers, and desserts from Cakes by Liz.

All proceeds go towards the school’s Project Period, a two-week session twice a year where fifth through 12th graders work side-by-side, in groups, focusing on interests such as outdoor education, international film, astronomy, portfolio building or cooking.
