WYOB-FM, the student-run radio station at the regional high school, and the MV Film Society have teamed up to host a benefit screening of Marley for the radio station in honor of Jimmy Cliff’s April 1 birthday. The documentary tells the life story of musician, revolutionary and legend Bob Marley, from his early days to international stardom. It includes rare footage, performances and interviews.

The screening will take place on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. at the film center, 79 Beach Road in Vineyard Haven, with a reception beginning at 6:30 p.m. featuring Jamaican fare by Ackee Tree Market.

Tickets are $30 for members and $35 general admission.
