This weekend the Filmusic Festival continues at the Film Center, 79 Beach Road in Vineyard Haven. The festival focuses on films with a musical take, from a documentary about the Beatles Sgt. Pepper album to a look inside the culture of swing dancing and choreographers. There is also a free drumming session Sunday.

Friday, June 23

Deconstructing the Beatles, composer, musician and Beatles expert Scott Freiman looks at Sgt. Pepper from multiple angles. 4 p.m.

Best Worst Thing That Ever Could Have Happened, heartbreaking and euphoric film focuses on the original cast members of Merrily We Roll Along. 7 p.m.

I Called Him Morgan, love letter to two unique personalities and the music that brought them together. 9 p.m.

Buena Vista Social Club - Adios, members of Buena Vista Social Club discuss their musical careers. 4 p.m.

Sunday, June 25

Childrens Event, drumming with Rick Bausman, 1 p.m. Free.
