Anyone looking for a rottweiler? Buddy has come back to us. The other dog in his new household was not thrilled with his presence. Buddy is a gem of a rottie. He was rescued from a situation of neglect but couldn’t be sweeter. He’s four years going on six months due to his lack of consistent training, but he does know his basics and is eager to learn. He would be a great addition to any family that has experience with large dogs, especially rotties.

Tabby mama Felicity has found her forever home. Wishing many years of happiness to all parties.

We are awash in guinea pigs. A mother and her four babies were rescued from literally being thrown in the trash. Mama is light brown and white and one of her babies is her spitting image. There are two black and white offspring, one is more black and the other more white. The runt is calico and white. This family is desperately in need of socialization, so even if you’re not in the market for one of these cuties, but are a guinea pig lover, please come by and play with them. They’re a very vocal group.

Holly is still waiting for an angel to find her. She is a four-year-old black and brown tabby who was rescued from an unfavorable situation. She’s been adjusting to her new friends who volunteer at the shelter, and it turns out she loves to play. This girl needs a home with a family that will give her time to adjust to her new surroundings. Once she does, her sweet personality will blossom. Stop by to meet her and see if that bond is formed.

Our resident lobby cat is 12-year old Chaps. He’s mostly white with some black markings on his body and striking black markings on his face. He’s a calm, wonderful boy who does well with dogs, cats and people. All he needs to be content is a little affection and a comfy bed. Although he has a home here, if someone should fall in love with him we would be willing to let him go.
