Seven Vineyard residents will be taking part in the 2017 Pan-Mass Challenge, an annual fundraiser for adult and pediatric cancer care and research. More than 6,200 cyclists will complete one of 12 routes throughout Massachusetts in the 38th annual challenge, which takes place August 5 and 6. Participants choose from 12 routes of varying mileage.

Eric Berke of Aquinnah, Gary Foster and Ron Rappaport of Chilmark, Scott Holmes of Oak Bluffs, and John Schilling, Jim Reynolds, and Daniel Lenehan of Vineyard Haven are participating in the challenge this year.

The Pan-Mass Challenge is Dana Farber Cancer Institute’s largest single contributor. For more information visit pmc.org.
