Rev. Dr. John Silvanus Wilson, Jr. will be the guest preacher at Union Chapel on Sunday, July 30.

Dr. Wilson served as the 11th President of Morehouse College from 2013 to 2017, and was just recently named “President in Residence” at Harvard University. In that role, he will research, write, teach and advise about the future of American higher education, with an emphasis on historically black colleges and universities (HBCUs).

Union Chapel is an interdenominational church located at the intersections of Narragansett, Kennebec and Circuit avenues in Oak Bluffs.
