Lindley Kratovil and Dustin Kirkland Sherer were married June 3 in St. Michaels, Md. The Hon. Alvin A. Schall, Circuit Judge of the United States Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit, performed the ceremony.

Katherine Leeming Sparkman was matron of honor and Kenneth Everett Sherer was the best man for his brother.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. Edward DeWolf Kratovil of Arlington, Va. and Mrs. Jane Lindley Kratovil of Alexandria, Va. She is a graduate of St. Andrews School and Vanderbilt University. Her family has had a strong connection to Martha’s Vineyard for many years. Mrs. Sherer is a granddaughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. Emil A. Kratovil of Greenwich, Conn., and the late Mr. and Mrs. John M. Lindley Jr. of Montpelier, Vt.

The bridegroom is a son of Mr. Michael Steven Sherer and Mrs. Mary Lynn Rhodes of Pueblo, Colo. He graduated from the University of Rochester. He is the grandson of Mrs. Harold S. Kirkland and the late Harold Kirkland and the late Mr. and Mrs. Donald E. Sherer.

The couple both work on Capitol Hill in Washington, DC where they met. They will make their home in Alexandria, Virginia.
