Lani Carney (or Miss Lani as everyone calls her) is on the move. Starting this week, the longtime children’s art teacher at Feathersone will be collaborating with Island Children’s School to host art classes afterschool and on Saturdays. Children ages 3 to 12 years old can take part in a wide assortment of art-themed classes from 3 to 5 p.m. on Tuesdays to Fridays, and painting classes from 9 a.m. to noon on Saturdays.

Island Children’s School is located at 5 Halcyon Way in West Tisbury. The cost for weekday classes is $35, and $45 for the Saturday class.
