Good news, an angel came and found our elderly orange male cat Petey and he now has a forever home. And tabby and white girl Abigail will be going to her new home soon. Congratulations! As for the dogs, year-old yellow Labrador retriever Max and 10-month-old hound mix Hamilton both have adoptions pending. Fingers crossed for both of them that they’ve found their new families.

We have a few cats looking for new families too. Noel is a young tuxedo female with double front paws and golden eyes. This girl is very sweet and affectionate, gives little love nips, and has a little feminine purr. She’s a real gem. Noel came to us as a stray from Vineyard Haven so if you believe she could be your missing pet please contact the shelter immediately. We know she would prefer to be home with her family instead of here with us.

Our other feline resident is a four-year-old gray and white tuxedo named Daisy. She has a quiet disposition and is very good with children, however she needs to be an only cat. We’re not sure yet how she is with dogs. This is a very affectionate girl who adores snuggling. Could you provide a nice warm lap for her?

Who wants a lop eared rabbit? Mel is a year-old, neutered male that is white with brindle ears and eyes. And one of those ears is up while the other is down, very cute. He’s also very friendly and enjoys petting. Mel would also like to find his new forever home as soon as possible.

The nail clinic held last Saturday was a success. Thank you to everyone who showed up with their pets.
