Twenty-five years ago a fellow I knew was killed by a gun in a school shooting. That memory lingers as more and more school shootings interrupt American lives.
Now there may be a chance to limit access to assault rifles, raise the age to purchase weapons and improve background checks. I support these measures.
Next week I plan to be in Washington to advocate gun control with March for our Lives.
We have only our children’s safety to protect.
