The Vineyard Gazette Media Group has launched a glossy new publication in time for the summer season. The 2018 Martha’s Vineyard Island Guide is a curated and fully updated introduction to many of the Island’s best attractions, from hiking trails and farm stands to restaurants and golf courses.
Designed to give visitors to the Island a wealth of suggestions on how to make the most of a Vineyard vacation, the 112-page Island Guide is an essential tool for anyone planning a trip to the Island, whether for a day or a month.
The first half of the magazine is arranged by town; the second half focuses on ways to enjoy the natural beauty of the Island. The magazine inlcudes lists of popular venues for nightlife, music, film, shopping, sightseeing and offers quick ideas for building a vacation itinerary.
Edited by Susie Middleton and designed by Bluerock Design, the Island Guide features images from Island photographers including Tim Johnson, Jeanna Shepard, Alison Shaw, Elizabeth Cecil, Randi Baird and Albert Fischer.
Among other things, the guide includes Island maps, updated restaurant and hotel listings, beaches and outdoor activitoes, dates for important summer events, a timeline of Island history and a look back at the filming of Jaws.
The Island Guide goes on sale starting this weekend wherever the Martha’s Vineyard Magazine is sold. Or visit vineyardgazettestore.com to purchase a copy online.
