I went to Maine last weekend to canvass on behalf of Jared Golden, running for Maine’s second Congressional representative.

Working out of the Bangor office, I knocked on nearly 100 doors and engaged more than a third of the homeowners in conversation. Each interaction was thoughtful and respectful.

The effort to encourage voter support felt productive; I trust it will prove rewarding on Nov. 6.

Volunteers are an integral element in the election process. My effort was appreciated and I look forward to further voter interaction.
