This weekend Pathways Arts is throwing a piano party with Three Pianists & The Grand Piano on Friday, March 29, and 3 Pianos: David Stanwood & Friends on Sunday, March 31.

David Stanwood is the glue that holds both shows together. On Friday he opens the evening with an improv performance playing the piano with nylon strings. Fellow performers include Paul Thurlow, Peter Halperin and Griffin McMahon.

On Sunday, Mr. Stanwood is back, curating an evening of music featuring three pianos, one cabaret piano and two baby grands.

Boston-based Frank Wilkins performs with his wife and collaborator, Cleopatra Wilkins, on vocals. The pair return to Pathways for the second consecutive year. Wes Nagy, Taurus Biskis, Kestutis Biskis, David Stanwood, Andy Herr, Len Morris, Dean Rosenthal, Jared Salvatore and Tim Winchell round out the evening on the pianos.

Both shows are from 7 to 9 p.m.
