Union Chapel continues its season on Sunday, July 14, with a return preaching engagement from the Rev. Liz Walker, senior pastor of Roxbury Presbyterian Church in Boston since 2011. Ms. Walker is an ordained minister in the African Methodist Episcopal tradition and a 2005 graduate of Harvard Divinity School.
Prior to entering the ministry, Ms. Walker was an award-winning television journalist who broke barriers by becoming the first African-American weeknight news anchor in Boston.
Her sermons can be heard on Boston WROL 950AM radio at 8:15 a.m. Monday through Friday.
All services begin at 10 a.m., with an organ prelude starting at 9:40 a.m.
