New Yorker writer Adam Gopnik headlines the Summer Institute Speaker Series on Thursday, August 1 at the Martha’s Vineyard Hebrew Center.

Mr. Gopnik has been a staff writer for the New Yorker since 1986. He genres include nonfiction, critical essays, fiction humor, and memoirs. He also lectures widely and has been featured on The Moth, hosting it on the Vineyard in 2013.

The event begins at 7:30 p.m. The Hebrew Center is located at 130 Center street in Vineyard Haven.
