On Sunday, August 4, Union Chapel in Oak Bluffs welcomes back the Reverend Kenneth J. Kieffer for his fifth visit.

Rev. Kieffer currently serves as pastor at the United Methodist Church in Cheshire, Conn., where he lives with his wife, Karen, and daughter, Olivea.

He is a lifelong United Methodist, pursuing his call to ministry through a religion degree at Florida Southern College and a masters of divinity from Candler School of Theology at Emory University. Ordained as an elder in the New York Annual Conference of the United Methodist Church in 1986, Ken has pastored churches in Connecticut and New York and has served in regional leadership as Connecticut district superintendent.

People of all faiths are invited to the service, which begins at 10 a.m., preceded by an organ prelude at 9:40 a.m.

Union Chapel is located on Narragansett avenue, at the intersection with Kennebec and Circuit avenues. Summer attire is welcome.
