Caroline Kingsley Meyer and Jorge Vilarrasa Esparza were married June 8 at the First Congregational Church of West Tisbury. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. Cathlin Baker, and a reception was held at the Allen Farm in Chilmark.
The bride is the daughter of Lois Berry Meyer and Jeffrey Stuart Meyer of Darien, Conn., and West Tisbury. Her three sisters, Allie Meyer, Mallory Meyer and Kendall Meyer, were the maids of honor. Her maternal side of the family has been coming to Martha’s Vineyard since 1888.
She is an associate in the investment banking division of Barclays. She graduated from Middlebury College and received a master’s in business administration from the Ross School of Business at the University of Michigan.
The bridegroom is the son of Myriam Esparza Beltrán of Valencia, Spain, and Jorge Vilarrasa Arlandis of Madrid, Spain. His brother, Borja Vilarrasa Esparza, was the best man.
He is an associate in the investment banking division of Goldman Sachs. He graduated from Middlebury College and received a master’s in business administration from New York University’s Stern School of Business.
The couple met at college in 2008 during their sophomore year. They make their home in New York city.
